Founded in 1987, Wiedson started out as a supplier of single cylinder diesel engines to the Indonesian agriculture market. The years that followed saw immense growth in business, allowing Wiedson to diversify to other areas such as supplying marine equipment to vessel owners and builders.

In 1988 Wiedson was appointed exclusive distributor of ADVANCE marine transmissions, marking the Chinese manufacturer’s first ever overseas distributorship arrangement.

1990 marks Wiedson’s foray into the diesel engine spare parts sector, entering into a joint venture in China (Nantong Wiedson Precision Hi-Wits Precision Co., Ltd) to manufacture its own brand of diesel engine spare parts. Today its WECO and NPC brands of diesel engines and spares are leaders in their markets.

Another milestone in Wiedson’s journey was in 2013 as Wiedson was appointed an exclusive distributor of CNPC JICHAI marine engines in Indonesia.

Today Wiedson is a trusted supplier of engineering equipment and spare parts to customers in Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore spanning industrial and marine applications. We have established ourselves as a market leader, with quality and reliability being hallmarks of our products.
